CheckUPS II Advanced works with Best Power Patriot Pro, Patriot Pro II, Fortress, Fortress.TeleCom, Axxium rackmount, Axxium Pro, FERRUPS, UNITY/I Single Phase, Unity/I Three Phase, Powerware 9170 and Best/SOLA 320, 325, 510, 520, 525, 600, 610 and 620 models.

CheckUPS II Advanced uses either a physical connection to the UPS (the provided RS-232 cable) or a network connection (IP) to a remote UPS in situations where more than one computer is protected by a single UPS.

In addition to standard power monitoring features such as the power monitoring and unattended shutdown, offered by the CheckUPS II Basic software, CheckUPS II Advanced software accesses valuable information within the UPS regarding UPS operating conditions and status. With the Advanced software, shutdown of the OS and/or UPS can be based on the actual battery condition, or remaining runtime (if available from the UPS). In some cases, additional user-configurable events allow full control of an orderly, unattended system shutdown.
