CheckUPS II Basic software is designed for use with the Best Power Patriot UPS and Best/SOLA 305 and 310 UPS models. These UPS communicate via contact closure communications only.

CheckUPS II Basic can also be used with all other Best Power UPS models, including some additional three phase models, by obtaining the correct cable or adapter (Example: INT-0045 for UNITY/I Three Phase models) from Best Power.

CheckUPS II Basic provides simple power monitoring and orderly, unattended operating system shutdown in the event of an extended power failure. Basic software bases its actions on the On Battery and Low Battery signals provided by the UPS.

Once the system is shut down, CheckUPS II can also shut down the UPS to conserve remaining battery power.
